Built near an ancient Roman road in the 10th century by the 3rd Duke of Normandy, this church was rebuilt twice, this explaining the presence of Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance architectural styles. You will notice the numerous references to Taurin, first bishop of Evreux, on the south portal and stained glass, and especially its superb reliquary dating from the 13th century. Piously preserved in a chapel,this goldsmith piece of exceptional delicacy, unique in the world is covered with gold leaf.
The Reception Centers are at the Presbytery of the Cathedral according to the following schedules :
- Monday at the secratariat, from 9am to 11:30am and from 2:30pm to 5pm.
- Tuesday at the Secretariat, from 9am to 11h30am and from 2:30pm to 5pm.
- Wednesday at the Reception, from 10h30am to 12pm and from 2:30pm to 5pm.
- Thursday at the Reception, from 10:30am to 12pmand from 2:30pm to 5pm.
- Friday at the Secretariat, from 9am to 11h30am and from 2:30pm to 5pm.
- Saturday at the Reception, from 9am to 11:30am.
