VISITEZ UN BÂTIMENT ICONIQUE DU MOUVEMENT MODERNE EN ARCHITECTURE ET CHEF-D’ŒUVRE DU CÉLÈBRE LE CORBUSIER !
La Villa Savoye, aussi appelée « Les Heures Claires » a été construite entre 1928 et 1931 par l’architecte Charles-Edouard Jeanneret, dit Le Corbusier, et Pierre Jeanneret. Tous les points d’une architecture nouvelle formulés par Le Corbusier en 1927 ont été mis en œuvre pour cette villa de week-end commanditée par Mr et Mme Savoye : pilotis, toit-jardin, plan libre, fenêtres en longueur, façade libre, et bien sûr l’emploi du béton armé.
Laissé à l'abandon, l'édifice est restauré par les services de l'État de 1963 à 1997 et classé monument historique dès 1964. La Villa Savoye est inscrite sur la liste du patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO.
